MaGulBaN Once upon a time there lived good boys and girls: Margarita, Guldara, Bagrat and Nunu. They had different families and destinies. They loved their parents, their relatives and all people in the world very much. Having grown up, they had a great desire to help people who got in trouble, especially children, as well as animals. And the most important was that they had a common dream: to travel all over the world. They called themselves Magulbans. They lived in the same town, in the yard, they were of the same age, but different on characters. They had been friends for 4 years and their desire and aspiration to kind affairs increased day by day.
Story 2. Rescued girl Ekaterina
A few days have already passed since the girl was rescued, all those days the Magulbans remembered their adventures and discussed the incident. One of those days Nunu noticed: ''We should have spoken to the girl's parents, have told them what had happened to her, how she was drowning and how we rescued her''. Margarita and Guldara objected saying: ''The most important is that the girl is rescued though you are right somehow. Anyway we should have told the parents what had happened to the girl, henceforth they are more attentive and do not leave her out of sight''.
One morning the rescued girl came to Bagrat and Margarita's place with her parents and she rushed to Bagrat enthusiastically exclaiming: ''Finaly we found you, Bagrat!'' Bagrat's parents stood at a loss and didn’t understand what was going on.
- Come in, let's talk. Take a seat!- Bagrat’s father offered.
Everybody went into the room, sat down and Catherine’s father began…
- A whole week passed. After returning from the river Catherine was weak, did not eat anything, could hardly talk, only shouted in her dreams: “I am drowning!.. I am drowning!.. Bagrat!.. Help me!.. Help me!..My wife and I even called doctors but they didn’t find out any disease. And Catherine still shouted at nights. And then we asked her when she was drowning and who helped her? So she burst into tears and told us that the last time when we were on the beach her ball fell into the water, she rushed to get it out and started drowning. A boy named Bagrat and his friends rushed to save her. I can’t understand, she was always in our sight, we didn’t see anything, how could she invent all this? We didn’t know what to do. And we have recently got a letter from my grandmother Patush, who disappeared 44 years ago. We thought that she died. The grandmother wrote that she was alive and lived in the west of Asia, she missed us, and also warned us of the danger awaited my daughter. She wrote that Catherine could drown in the river. So the strange letter and Katya’s mysterious disease made me search for a boy named Bagrat in schools . And now we are here. Finding out that I found Bagrat and we were going to his place, the disease was gone. She got up and even asked for something to eat and then dressed and said that she was coming with us.
Bagrat’s mother listened to the story of Katya’s father amazed and she did not understand how her beloved son related to all this. Bagrat and Margarita looked at each other as they knew what was talked about. The mother asked: “Did you go to the river without a permittion?” Bagrat, seeing the questioning glances of the adults, asked Margarita to take Katya to the kid's bedroom and show the house of the doll M… He did not want to lie but he did not want to tell the truth either. ''Nobody
will believe,'' – he thought. ''Katya could invent all this or see it in her dream, if she thinks so and it helps her recovery, then let it be so.''- said Bagrat.
Everybody calmed down. Having talked a bit, the guests said goodbye and left and Bagrat relieved that he did not have to disclose the Magulbans' secret.
A bit later Guldara and Nunu visited them and learned about the arrival of Catherine with her parents and they also found out about their grandmother's letter. Then the Magulbans decided to learn about the whole story of grandmother Patush and try to find her.
The next day the Magulbans visited Katya who, as it turned out, lived not far from their place. Margarita gave her a small doll M… and chocolates. Katya was very happy for the gifts but she was much happier to see Bagrat and his friends. The children played with Katya, drank tea with cakes with which Katya’s mother treated them and then they asked the girl’s father to tell them about grandmother Patush.
Father’s story: My grandfather and grandmother got married when they both were 21 years old. 4 years later after the birth of my father grandmother Patush got ill and her mother, who lived somewhere in the west of Asia, asked her to come to her place. She went there. Weeks passed, there was no news from my grandmother. My grandfather worried and decided to go to look for her. He returned a month later, wholly grizzled, without my grandmother. He told us that Patush’s mother had died suddenly and her searches gave no result. My grandfather’s sister brought up my father and when he grew up he learned about the whole story. She also told him that my grandfather was worried with something. He tried to share with his thoughts but every time something restrained him to do it. After 4 years of experiences and grief my grandfather died taking all his secrets with him to the grave. My father, who is seriously ill and is in the hospital at the moment, told me all about it, but we have never left the idea to go to Asia, to try to disclose the mystery of my grandmother's disappearance, when suddenly Katya got ill and we got this letter.
Becoming silent he handed the letter to Nunu.
Grandmother's letter: ''To my dear son and my only grandson! It will seem strange that I am writing to you after 44 years of silence. I am still alive but old age is no joy, I am already 69. Then, 44 years ago, the circumstances forced me to disappear in these strange places so that you could forget me and you would not feel bad because of me. But life is arranged so that relatives do not forget each other. I saw my beloved husband who came after me but I was not allowed to see him. And then…my mother died, and after my husband died, without knowing anything about me. And only one circumstance compelled me to write this letter: I am very anxious, I saw the reality ''on screen'' that misfortune is going to happen to your granddaughter, to my great-granddaughter in August. She can drown in the river. So, please, don't go to the river till August 26. Believe me, it is very dangerous for the girl. And you, my son, will recover soon. Now you will think how I could know all this?.. I know much enough. Hug you all tightly, and don't search me. That's why I am not writing the return address to you and there is no return address. I love and miss you. Your Patush. August 4''.
After reading the letter which was sent on August 4 and was received on Audust 29, 4 days later after Katya was about to be drowned, the Magulbans meaningfully looked at each other. Bagrat asked them to give the letter with the envelope for some days and also the photo of grandmother. Seeing the interest of the kids, Katya's father gave the letter and got the photo of grandmother from the family album. A young girl was looking at them from the picture. ''How much Katya looks like her.''- thought the friends. The Magulbans stayed a bit more then said goodbye and left.
Getting home the Magulbans carefully read the letter one more time, examined the envelope which was stamped. But they could not read where it was sent from. The stamp was unclear and the children went home upset.
The next day Margarita was looking through her e-mail. Reading a current message she was very surprised. The following was written in the message: ''Margarita, do you want to find Patush? So know, she is alive and is in an inhabited place located in the west of Asia. You will find the scheme of the arrival in qqq.nubqm/+q/.magulqon.am – Gordiz-Mountain''. Margarita showed the message to the children. All together they opened the noted website where the scheme was, they decided to copy it, but they did not manage to copy it. Then they had to draw it. Here it is:
-/Asia, at the junction of 3 / +1 / good countries, where wonderful people live. The symbols are the 4 coloures: green, white, orange, black. Sea of 10 letters, a desert, a 2 days way on animals, which can exist without water for a long time/.
A minute later Margarita wanted to open the noted website, but it did not exist any more.
Then the Magulbans decided to try to find grandmother Patush at the first opportunity and disclose the mystery of her disappearance.
You will learn all about it, about the disclosure of grandmother Patush’ secrets and you will get the answers to many questions, reading the next stories and looking at the pictures of the Magulbans.
